Sunken Sad Feeling

Wednesday, February 02, 2005

This morning, I woke up with a sunken sad feeling. It feels like I going to break down and cry. Deep in my heart I know that these tears would be reserved for my missing of the loved ones - my grandma. Last nite I have a dream and the dream was surrounded about my grandma passing away. Perphaps this is how it feels, to cry for somebody that is close to you in heart! I can still remember during the funeral how I fought to resist the tears from rolling down my cheeks. But it was futile, and I was fighting a losing battle. That day I know what it is to be sad and what is crying for!

Few years have passed since, and from a show that I watched, it brings me deep impression how it brings out the meaning of crying. Crying has two forms; 1) To cry so that you bring about self-empathy to yourself, can't help feeling that you are weak and brittle, and so that you can gain the pitiness of others to help. 2) To cry out your heart away as you truly feels sad about the lost of something or somebody. In differentiating the two, the first case would be of a child that cries out loud so that he can obtain the toy that he wants, whereas the second case was an experience sadness due to a lost of event/things/person.
